I'm not surprised! They did not look like fun when Sarah was having them. To her extreme credit, she never swore once, there were lots of noises like in the cartoon though!

yeah, not all women are MEAN like they show on tv... although, tv shows women having a baby in seconds... too funny about the noises!! i did threaten to quit in the middle of labor... hehehe... oh the memories they never die!!! your cartoon strip is AWESOME!

Thanks Ellia, it's great to know it's resonating with other parents! Women on TV giving birth in seconds is one of our biggest pet peeves. "Oh my water just broke, there's no time!" Pfft. I know some women do have quick labours but the majority of women are damned heroic when it comes to enduring labour. And then to get no rest and look after a newborn?!? They should seriously give every mother a medal!
