Thanks Ellia, I think you and Ramel seem to have a very similar viewpoint on parenting as Sarah and I do. I've been wanting to do a comic strip for years but never had any original enough material until I became a parent, and it ocurred to me that technically I can keep this strip going for years as I'm living the story! When I'm a bit further in you and/or Ramel are always welcome to make a guest strip or two should the urge take you.

oh yes, this strip could go on for YEARS... i cant wait to see what you do for the toddler stage!!!!! or when freya's imagination piques [or is it peaks]... i have written down the things isabella has told me- her own versions of stories and it melts my heart... diego too!!! and how he wanted me to change my name to aunt mae and his name to peter parker when he grows up... parenting certainly doesn't get easier but all the little and big things make it worth every ache, bump, fear, frustration, joy, and laugh!!! sorry for the verbose comments! :)

No need to apologise for verbose comments, it's lovely to hear what people think. I'd be really happy if this went on for years. In all honesty I imagine being a parent will throw up loads of material over time!

oh it will!!!! plus add your own parenting blunders... like burning your daughter's tutu skirt and not realizing it's full of holes.. playing with them and everyone getting hurt... throwing a load of laundry aside but taking the kid with it... hehe... forcing a child to play lego xbox games until they literally fall asleep... or does that sound mean?! HAHAHA

Forcing your child to play Lego Xbox games sounds like a solid parenting method that I totally intend to adopt! :D

I completely intend to document my mistakes (I'm thinking of making my cartoon counterpart even more clumsy than I already am!). One of the upcoming strips focuses on me forgetting to sterilise Freya's very first bottle and then subsenquently lying about it when asked! Plus the time I put the kettle in the microwave to warm it up...
